Journal Snippets: Saturdays Scribblings
“With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26.
A smattering of journal entries, because its mind-blowing to see His golden thread, connecting events and making a way.
Some Saturday Scribblings…
It’s a gorgeous day! Thank you God. Thank you God for my health and keeping my vessel healthy and strong. I am going to protect my peace. I am sending all of my family love, good health and happiness and positivity. Thank you God for the guidance, love and protection. When I am done meditating I will know. I am going to see where the day takes me. No real plans. Whatever floats my boat is what I will do. Its all play time. I am so very grateful for my life. Thank you God! Thank you God!
Today’s Thoughts = Same thoughts but better, because I am getting better.
The Lord has been working with me on a clearer focus on Him and what I do each day. I look back at these journal entries and it’s obvious that my focus is all over the place and I need His direction.
Thank You God!
Summertime is one of my favorite seasons because the days are longer, and even more gorgeous. I often stay up late and sleep in longer in the mornings. Before I even get out of bed, I begin my ongoing chat with Him for the day. I spend the first couple of hours meditating, journaling and praying, with Him every day.
I start with gratitude for my life and His presence. I thank Him for another day. I pray for good health for myself and family and the peace, guidance, love and protection I know He provides daily.
Proverbs 3:5-6 states: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths."
If I jump out of bed and hit a list of tasks before my quiet time with Him, I end up frustrated and unproductive. Whether it is laundry, creating, or whatever floats my boat, it all starts with complete trust and dependence on God.
Psalm 37:5 says: "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act."
My time with God is very important to me and it’s the only way I can have a good day of playtime. I trust where the day takes me is right in His plan for me. He is the joy of my life and His Holy Spirit leads me. I’m sharing today’s thoughts directly from His Word because I'm on assignment.
